I never heard of David Garrett until I read an article about him falling down stairs and crushing his million dollar violin made in 1700. From Germany, he now lives in NY City and supplements his income by modeling part time. Skeptical, I went to his site and learned that he was a child prodigy that started playing with the London Philharmonic at age 10.Once the David Garrett site loaded, a video started. The sound of his violin caught my breath. Watching him play, the emotion, the feel of the music he creates is a beauty rarely heard. I know what CD I'll get next: Virtuoso.
